I currently have 2 8-core 2687 W Xeon processors with 64 GB of DDR3 and a Quadro 5000 graphics card.
The system runs very well, has been since I built it 2.5 years ago.
Although I am now lusting after the new 18-core processors, 128 GB of DDR 4 and the Quadro K 5200, the X99 platform has got my attention especially since I can max it out (8-core CPU, 128 GB of DDR4 and 2 Titan graphics cards) at a fraction of the cost of the dual Xeon system. -
Actually, my ‘can you define that” question ( a nod to a previous post) was my way of asking you to list the machine’s specs.
I am interested to know how the new chipset performs. -

“the analyze content function” has been dropped from PPro going forward because it didn’t improve as expected when it was first introduced.
