Seems to me this is another shining example of how this isn’t a tool meant for professionals. Then again, I really loved Bruce the Yak from the early editions of FCP Legacy (What? A professional NLE with a cartoon yak that comes out and eats grass on the screen if you are idle for too long!?!)…and was sad to see him go in FCP 6.

You’re kidding, right?. It means that FCP is like any other app that can use symbols in in text input leaving the decision whether or not to use them to the user.

I have a whole bunch of screen snaps of his sayings. And I knew the secret on how to get him to appear in FCP 6…it was VERY complex, and took me 3 attempts each time, at least. But totally wiped by FCP 7.
