Oh wow. The one thing I never thought of. So because it’s usb, that’s what makes my rendering so slow??

No, I’m rendering to my external harddrive. Right now there’s 250 gigs left on that external.

oh and i ran into somemore problems. Just to see what it looks like I rendered in dvd architect dvd NTSC to see what it would look like. And there’s not only no sound at all, but I have a timer clock countdown in the lower corner. that didn’t show up. I’m using the trial verson of Newblue fx and that’s where I got the time clock. Is there a reason why the clock wouldnt show up? and why no sound?

yes thank you. These have been the settings since day 1 when I captured the video from the tape deck. HDV 1080 60i. Rendering does say no compression necessary, but it still took 20 hours. If I take a snapshot of the picture in the timeline, I won’t be able to shrink it down to the size I want. (the jpeg is a logo watermark in the lower left hand corner). Or am I wrong about this? I am also fading it into the actual video, so there are some fx

footage came from sony fx1. 1080 60i. Shot on sony mini dv HD tape and captured with sony tape deck into vegas with m2t files. Yes, everything was working in sony until recently when I tried adjusting the brightness. when I saw that it was rendering the footage poorly i stopped adjusting the brightness. I rendered without the brightness and it worked perfectly. took about 20 minutes to render the 70 minute video. At first,I input a png file and that’s when it would only render 5 % of the footage to mpeg2. I than tried several different options of rendering (avi, wmv etc) with the same result. I than converted to jpeg, but got the same result. I than realized maybe it was stopping at 5% because that’s about where the jpeg logo design started. So, I put the logo (jpeg) through the whole video. Starting from beginnning to end. So for the last 24 hours, it’s been rendering 1080 60i mpeg2. And it’s saying 20 more hours left…. but it’s rendering past 5% : )

the pixel size is 1916 x 1080. well, it started to render a little more, but now it stops at 11%. the video I have is about 6 mixed martial arts fights. there’s no plug ins. I didn’t even fix any lighting because when I did that the actual video would take 3 days to render. and that was just adjusting brightness.
I can’t render in any other format, no.Rion

the jpeg is 51 kb. It’s about 20 minutes in an 1.20 length video. I am rendering in 1080 60i to mt2. I rarely have any problems rendering without any lighting effects. But if I put anything in (move the brightness a smidge) it renders the video which takes over 2 hours. Rendering with no plug ins, takes about 20 minutes. And now I’m getting these white lines, almost like I plugd in the ray effect, but I didn’t.
I’m also putting a clock effect (count down from 3:00) on top of the jpeg, but I haven’t even tried that yet, because it won’t render with the jpeg, I doubt it will with that plug in… If I missed a question, sorry, I’m flustered.Rion

I have 6gb and like I said, Sony vegas is the only thing ever running on this computer. I disabled firewall and anti virus software last night, but it kept doing it.
But, Today it stopped doing it for some reason. Not sure what I did, but it’s working now : )Rion
