It’s an avi file. was shot on p2. I transcoded it into mpeg2-dvd but now it’s video AND audio seperated. and premiere pro does not read mt2 files apparently. It’s smaller (4gb) but how do I write this to a dvd if they are separted?

I think I didn’t explain it right. When I convert it to PDF, and go to import it into Premiere, it tells me that format is not supported.

I try to do that. But then I go to save the PDFs, there nowhere to be found on my computer. I can’t figure that one out, but it occured to me that I may need to do that.

How would I know if I’m ‘scaling’ the image?

My problem isn’t that it takes too long, that’s to be expected. My problem is that premiere pro isn’t doing anything. Just tells me that it’s encoding. but nothing happens.

Okay, I understand what you’re trying to say and I’ve watched the tutorials. But I’m still not gettting a straight answer, even from the tutorials…. what’s the difference between Layers and Compositions?

Nope, you will have to delete the spaces between the clips. You can actually select a space and hit delete, that will move the clips ahead accordingly.”

    Ah! great! thank you!
