<p>Depending on whether I was on my laptop, or on a two screen desk set-up using an extended Apple keyboard, I had several Workspaces organised for each, with Command Post selecting them&hellip;</p>

<p>I ALWAYS import to library, so there&#8217;s no way the &#8216;leave files in place&#8217; would be ticked on.</p>
<p>After importing from a card from a Lumix GH5S M2, I came back to the project the next day and files are missing as per OP&#8217;s description. And like them, when I reinsert the camera&hellip;</p>

<p>I import my MacWhisper srt files into that and then mess around with all the setting s to make them look how I like. There&#8217;s quite a lot you can adjust to get them looking how you like.</p>

I&#8217;ve thrown some poor quality audio at it, even with some jargon and names, and it&#8217;s done an amazing job. It also copes with stumbles, repetitions, ums and ers, etc,&hellip;</p>

BUT I&#8217;ve noticed the keyboard layout looks like a different language, and maybe this&hellip;</p>

<p>For some projects and workflows I find it quite useful.</p>
<p>I can do the same thing with a mouse-click of course, and the tool tip still displays as &#8216;Show or hide the&hellip;</p>

<p>I wasn&#8217;t aware of this requirement re drive format, and yes the SanDisc is exFAT.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not confident this is the issue as I&#8217;ve realised one of my main 4Tb archive discs is exFAT with many dozens of libraries on it all running fine.</p>
<p>However, I&#8217;m copying on to a back up disc, will reformat the SSD as MacOS Extended Journaled and let you know if&hellip;</p>

<p>If I try relinking one of the missing files, it tells me it&#8217;s expecting it to be in an event I created called &#8220;Projects&#8221; which is where I&#8217;ve put all the original projects from the smaller libraries.</p>
<p>So, I locate the large library in the &#8216;relink&#8217; dialogue, it appears to find and verify the file, so I press relink, and it still&hellip;</p>

Can anyone confirm whether it&#8217;s OK to reinstall earlier versions of the app (FCPX2 and 3) while I&#8217;m mainly running FCPX 4 on my laptop. Will there be any preference file clashes or other such issues? I don&#8217;t need different verions running at the same time, but I do want different versions running at&hellip;</p>

Nice simple software. I realised the problem was probably frame rate as original was 30fps and I&#8217;m working FCPX in PAL 25fps. So using Handbrake I did a quick conversion to .mp4 at 25fps &#8211; quality seems good, sound is there, and FCPX is playing nice.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class = "activity-discussion-title-wrap"><a href="https://creativecow.net/forums/thread/screen-recording-of-an-interview-not-playing-well-in-fcpx/">Screen recording of an interview not playing well in FCPX.</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>I&#8217;ve used Movavi Screen Capture to record a Zoom interview on my MacBook Pro (late2016 running 10.14.6). </p>
<p>The app first creates an .mkv file (which will play back using VLC etc. but isn&#8217;t importable to FCPX 10.4.10). It also has the option to save the recording as an .mp4.</p>
<p>My first attempt at this produced a file which played back fine in VLC,&hellip;</p>
