    Hello, can anyone help.

I have been having trouble with FCP lock & load. Even though I have bought it and put the serial number in, it keeps saying “trial mode” and it’s being used on another computer (I only have it activated on one ) even tho I reactivate the plugin it strait away goes back to trial mode and tells me it’s being used on another computer. I have been in touch with core melt but they can’t help me anymore. If anyone has any ideas of a fix or why’s it keeps going to trail mode please let me know.

I have trashed fcp preferences and also reinstalled L&L but nothing.

    Please help.

    Thank you

Are you using their coremelt installer app?

I agree with Kirk. It’s called CoreMelt Manager. I’ve been using it to install & update CoreMelt plugins with no issues. Maybe it will help.

Hi guys. Yes I have been using the core melt manager. It’s still saying trail ended. It has a green tick next to it then I use the plugin and it says trail ended due to it being on another computer. When I open the manager again the tick has been replaced with a red exclamation mark and I can’t reactivate the plugin. It keeps happening 🙁

Have you clicked the license manager to see if it can be activated or deactivated? Is it deactivated on the other computer?

I seem to recall when I went from one computer to another, I’d forgotten about an even older computer that had some CoreMelt plugins installed. Fortunately, it started and I cleared that install. Did you ask CoreMelt if they can disable the other license on the other computer? I don’t see why they couldn’t do that.

Hello. Yes it seems to be deactivated on my Mac book pro ( I’m using Mac Studio) I did have an older computer from 2017 it was uploaded too but it’s so old the core melt manager can’t be installed. I have told core melt about this but they said the new serial numbers would wipe out the others but it’s still keeps saying it’s being used on another computer

I’ve had similar problem. I can put my serial number in to the CoreMelt manager and L&L works for a short while, but then reopening a project it’s telling me it’s on Trial again.
Months of back and forth with Coremelt got me nowhere, and I’ve given up using it – rather disgusted with their customer service considering I paid a decent was for their total bundle.

Will be staying clear of Coremelt in future after this experience.
