I’ve had some customised keyboard shortcuts working, using the amazing ‘Command Post’ app, to quickly let me move between different Workspace set-ups I’d created.

Depending on whether I was on my laptop, or on a two screen desk set-up using an extended Apple keyboard, I had several Workspaces organised for each, with Command Post selecting them like this:
For laptop work I’d use Control-Option-Command-1 and 2 and 3 etc, and for the 2 screen set up, I’d have Shift – pad1 and pad2 and pad3 etc. for the equivalent but extended Workspaces.

Recently, and quite possibly when I updated to FCPX 11, the two screen versions simply stopped working. I can’t be sure it was the update, because at first I assumed something had corrupted Command Post, but when I went in to ‘fix’ it, by clearing those commands and reapplying them, I realised something else was going on.

Basically FCPX no longer seems to differentiate between keyboard numbers and the extended keyboard pad numbers, which it definitely used to do.

Has anyone else come across this, and apart from trying to invent some new key combinations for my workflow, any ideas for a fix or getaround?
