Depends on how you’re motion tracking… Built in Tracker, Mocha, Camera Tracker.
Though it sounds as if simple layer parenting would work.

Your track matte text is in a different location than the underlying text. Reveal the position property on each of them and move them into the same position.

You can open two Timeline panels, one for each and pick whip between them.

Depending on how you have the layers set up, the each layer’s scale could be linked to the layer above it and use an expression slider connected to a valueAtTIme function.
Perhaps this would work for you:

Then use this script:
value + thisComp.layer(“Null 1”).transform.scale
It will add the layer’s current scale value to the value of the null’s scale.

If all you’re doing with the Null is scaling, don’t parent the layers, use an expression linking the scale of the null to the scale of the other layer’s.
Even if you’ve built the rig, you can write the expression once for one layer, then copy and paste it to all the other layers in one step.

You can use this script to place the anchor point where you’d like on all selected layers.

I wasn’t suggesting it was an After Effects equivalent or replacement, however it is an interesting combination of editorial and effects capabilities.
I’ve been playing with Davinci Resolve as well, now if they added editorial to that it might replace PPro for me, and the lite version which only limits you to 1920×1080, is free.
