Paul is correct: cover the light with sheets of minus green. I’d start with 1/4. If still getting green, add another layer to make 1/2 minus green (magenta.) Rosco and Lee both make minus green in various densities. Shop around. Adorama is probably a better source since B&H makes you buy 6 sheets at a time, I believe.
Obviously these units are DAYLIGHT balanced. If you combine them with tungsten lights, you will either need to add 1/2 to 3/4 CTO to the fluorescents as well, or else add 1/2 CTB to the tungsten units.

When budget is an issue (as it always is) I find it worth spending a bit of time searching Amazon as well as Adorama, in addition to B&H. No specs as to max weight supported, though.

I have no hands-on experience with either, since I prefer either a tripod, or hand-held. Maybe I’m missing something.

Bingo! That’s it, the little clock, upper right hand corner…. In older versions, I believe, key-frames was always there. Not exactly an “improvement.”

The solution to either method is: nothing intrudes over/in-front-of the object itself. If you know how to shoot green screen, and the object is not reflective, then green screen is probably the easiest method.

Do you have to buy a Vinten Vision tripod to get that, or is that just a component that comes with tripods from vendors like Sachtler and Manfrotto?
Let your fingers do a bit of walking. If you go to BHPhotovideo.com and look up that item, you can find it as the head alone, or with sticks. As the poster said. He bought Gitzo carbon-fiber legs (obviously with the correct size bowl for the head.)

Thank you, Todd, I knew you’d have a solution. The Harbor Freight version is probably all I need. Some guys sell the same thing on eBay for a lot more money…. (I find eBay is usually the worst place for anything related to film equipment, way over-priced. There are occasional exceptions.)
