I’m surprised no one has yet mentioned the free and great stabilizer, deShaker ( https://biphome.spray.se/gunnart/video/deshaker.htm ) which works with Virtual Dub, also free ( https://www.virtualdub.org/ )

Easy. Open PanCrop; Place your cursor in the circle. The cursor now becumes a 4-way arrow. Slide the picture one way or the other. (If you want the picture to move just horizontally, toggle the little 4-way arrow on the left of the pannel until it shows just a horizontal arrow.) Obviously, you will need to use keyframes to find the beginning position, and the end. (If the photo does not fill the frame and you want it to, right click in PanCrop and select “Match Output Aspect” — you will need to do this at both the start point and end point.)

Thanks, Ted. Indeed, yesterday I ordered 100 of the ProDisk disks, the only “bargain” I could find within the top categories of the lists on digitalfaq.com. About one half the price of the best deal for the Taiyo Yuden. I’m sorry to hear your latest batch has some problems and hope those failures were an anomaly….

Correction: the DVD-R I sued is made by PioData, which DigitalFAQ.com rates as: “4th Class Media — Pathetic garbage media, landfill material, about 0-50% success rate.” A bit harsh since I’ve burned many a demo DVD with no problem, but like I said, not long programs.

Thanks, Tim. When I run Nero CD-DVD Speed transfer test, I get only a few small glitches, but that must be the problem. I’ll try some major brand DVDs. These ProData ones worked fine for 5-minute demos, but apparently not good for a full hour.
