Keith, I also have a 2008, 8 core Mac Pro. Looks like the Quadro 4000 would be a worthwhile purchase. I’m having trouble finding additional ram. Do you know where I can find it to accomodate the 2008 Mac Pro?

Also, have you upgraded to Lion? Any benefit? I’m still using Snow Leopard.

    Todd,

I just looked at the chart. Not sure how to decipher the information. Also, do you have any speed results or other data regarding the Mac Pro?

    Thank you,

Thanks Alex. I’ll look for the thumbnails in the list view. The tile view is the one that I can’t seem to sort. Most of the tiles start from the last item and work backwards, but even that is out of order in places. Can the tile view be sorted?

That’s the strange part. The M2V file is clean. I can burn it using DVD Studio Pro without a problem, but Encore will not handle it cleanly. The M2V was created from a standard def DV25 timeline. I can make clean DVDs using Encore when encoding M2Vs from a 1080i timeline but apparently not from an SD timeline. Has anyone else run into this?

Nevermind, just found it looking on-line. Weird place for it.. I was using someone else’s today and couldn’t find it.

Getting a proper exposure to exterior lighting is essential as the first step. Sony understands this and provides internal ND filters in the F3. If the F3 includes this then why doesn’t the FS100? This brings me back to the flange distance. What is the difference between the F3 and the FS100 flange distance? If it isn’t significant enough to preclude the use of an internal ND filter, then why doesn’t the FS100 include one?

Not true. I’ve done it many times. In fact, I’ve had times when my MacPro would not see the adapters. I had no choice but to remove the SDHC card and put it in a standard card reader. No problem at all.

What do you mean by preset ND setting?
