I’m a new convert from FCP so I haven’t figured some things out yet. Is it possible to arrange the items in thumbnail view? I can do it in list view, but can’t seem to be able to do it in thumbnail view.

Also, in Final Cut, I can set an in and out and then copy and paste that section. Does Premiere have an equivalent? I use this all the time in FCP and find that I’m really slowed down not having this option.

    You can do

    List or “Tile”

See Icons at bottom of Project Panel. (CMD PAGE UP/PG DWN is the toggle I think)

Also you can do list view WITH thumnails.

This is available in the Project Panel Context menu drop down at the upper right of the project panel.

Here you can change size of the icons in list view and then also toggle thumbnails on and off.

Let me know if you can’t find it. It’s a bit tricky at first.

Thanks Alex. I’ll look for the thumbnails in the list view. The tile view is the one that I can’t seem to sort. Most of the tiles start from the last item and work backwards, but even that is out of order in places. Can the tile view be sorted?
