<p>What about the arrow keyboard keys &#8211; did they work?  Also what version of Vegas Pro are you using?  I Tried what Tim suggested and found that I was not able to change the height of the audio track independently from the video (in the trimmer).  By grabbing the top of the video track I could reduce the size of  both tracks.  If I made them&hellip;</p>

I&#8217;ve been using Vegas Pro for over 15 years &#8211; started with version 4 (I think), and have always used the trimmer to find the first frame of a clip I need to add to the timeline.&hellip;</p>

<p>Two things:</p>
<p>1) Try 18 fPs?,</p>
<p>2) If the amount of &#8220;out of sync&#8221; is constant over the entire video, try slipping the audio with respect to the video.</p>
<p>Were the audio and video recorded with the same recorder (e.g. camera only &#8211; not camera and tape recorder)?</p>

<p>Checkout something like SnagIt (Techsmith) &#8211; I think they have a version which creates video from the screen &#8211; Camtasia.  While it is possible to animate in Vegas, it can be tedious.   </p>

<p>I have never used the zoom tool &#8211; to zoom the timeline use the mouse wheel.  This zooms the timeline about the timeline marker.  I don&#8217;t know of any way to make that toolbar larger.</p>

The timeline video doesn&#8217;t show the result of any filter you have added, although, in this case it doesn&#8217;t look like you have any filters applied.  You can try play with the Vegas Color Corrector and maybe enhance the contrast some.  Also the lighting in the background&hellip;</p>

<p>Sonar is good &#8211; I have been using that for years, but I like the filters available for Vegas and I use Vegas a lot more that all other A/V programs, so there is less &#8220;remembering&#8221; time for Vegas. I have had issues with mouses where the buttons start to bounce &#8211; usually when the mouse starts to get old or is used a lot.  I use that setting on my Vegas and never had a problem.</p>
