    I have downloaded Magix’ upgrade to V19 three times already but every time I open a project it shows the upgrade available dialogue box, and I notice that my build number is still 341. Shouldn’t this build number be different after the new upgrade? What gives, Wally? Thx

    I hate to ask the obvious, but did you install after you downloaded the update?

    I have no idea where it was downloaded to? It’s not in my Downloads folder.

    If you go through the update dialog you shouldn’t have to manually install anything. Once I told it to update it just progressed to the installation automatically. Although, for the previous update I did have exactly what John described happen on one computer once and worked fine the second time.

    Thanks David, There’s no prompts after the “installation.” Maybe its not coming through because my “C” drive is pretty full. I’ve cleared off some room on it. Let me try the update a fourth time,. Ill also put in a request to Magix to help me out ,Maybe they’ll get back to me in a couple of weaks…😝

    They always post the new downloads in the ‘News’ section.

    People seeing an update appear to succeed only to have to previous version still on their machine, there is not enough space on the harddrive for the update to complete. It is a known issue and probably needs a better check and error indication for the user.
