I have an idea though.
I plan to take modify my old Panasonic AG-HVX200, so the three chips turn into an HDR (black and white) signal. I haven’t gotten very far, except to have purchased and started to read a book on cameras. I think I need to replace the color filters with ND filters.
Any thoughts?

Ditch the client, ASAP. They are cheap know-it-alls and it will be difficult (if not impossible) to get your invoice paid in full.

You said, “In conjunction with AE” and that’s a big deal, a very big deal. Exporting with alpha and importing and all that seems so ancient. Dynamic Link everything everywhere all the time. We ought to be able to import MOtion projects into AE, and AE projects into Motion, and so on. (If that’s possible, please send a link to the tutorial. Thanks)

Use prelude to ingest the footage, then transcode as necessary. And send it to Premiere. ???

Perhaps, you changed the keyboard shortcuts. They are under the Premiere menu.
