Almost always, this is the underlying tech https://scala.com/

You need some serious networking chops to get it running and publishing. But once it’s up and running; very simple to maintain and schedule.

Sorry I didn’t see this before now.

I ran all the digital signage for Caesar’s Entertainment in Northern Nevada from 2006 – 2010; four properties, dozens of screens, two servers, and so on…making all of the creative. It was a very fun job.

There is so much to say I don’t even know where to begin, but here was my vendor: https://www.alphavideo.com/signage/ Talk to Lance Hutchinson, and tell him I said hi, please 🙂

He’s really easy to find on Linked In and is super awesome. They have many packages and Lance knows about everything there is to know, with great service.

Videos are a series of pictures (generally speaking). If they have the right to transmit the video on the website, what excludes the display of a single image as a “controller” to start the image sequence, much like is done on a DVD menu page? Moreover, the facebook and youtube thumbnails are generated by facebook and youtube; so if he as an issue with the thumbnails, he’ll need to contact those entities.

It’s a setting in the Cow called “hide newbie posts.” Uncheck that, see what happens. It’s in your profile.

[Lance Bachelder] “The big still missing item for me is some sort of mixer. I’d even take just a mixer that showed all the roles – treat roles like busses so I could add say a compressor to each buss and control the level of everything with the same role. “

Exactly! And it should be easy for Apple to create a Roles Inspector.

[Mark Suszko] “what would you call a policy that DOES cover losses due to subcontractor incompetence or “acts of God””

And also, how would a completion bond affect the situation?

[Neal Petrosky] “Would you bill your client to go through all of this just to get the project file back up to speed?”

If you have a working project file, with working media, and with an operable version of FCP7, then by definition the project is up to speed. Crank it out in 7 and submit the invoice.

    $0.02

How did the mic signal flow?

I was thinking maybe you can create a series of EQ’d sends to isolate some conversations between some people on some of the mics. But this is a Hail Mary pass for sure.
