No… the free toturial from the magazine article is what they need…

Print Screen or Ctrl V does not
1. Compensate for Pixel Aspect Ratio
2. Allow for the Black and White Restore for the differences betwwen YUV and RGB
3. Does not allow for an uprezzing

Capture preferences can get corrupted if you change easy setups or inputs with capture window open (happens ALL the time to me)

Download share FCP rescue… Quit program… Trash Preferences… Realunch… if that doesn’t work.. then reinstall card software.

Run through compressor with advanced conversion options… there is a folder with presets for different tape formats…

Bigger issues though
1. you are violating copyright
2. why would I or anyoen hire you for cutting video game trialers… get some original footage… approach an indi filmaker via craiglist etc… get out of Cyberspae and into the production community.

24P really doesn’t matter here….

Suget you take clips into AE for speed Effects.. AE 7 quite nice… download 3 day Demo… use speed effects with advacned frame bledning enabled

Can’t send things from FCP 5 to 3

Export a Reference or Self Contained Movie and drop that into compressor (be sure .mov extension is added)

I remember having to uninstal and reinstall that version of compressor occassionally due to corruption
