i want to “take a picture” from a .mov file to use as a image for printing. is there an easy way to do this and keep high res quality?

example is to take a shot from a movie and make a flier or ad.

    Hey, just do it.
Press PrintScreen on you keyboard, go to Photoshop or whatever and press Ctrl + V
Thas all you need. Of course, the quality of the picture will depende on the resolution of the movie.

    Big hugs.

No… the free toturial from the magazine article is what they need…

Print Screen or Ctrl V does not
    1. Compensate for Pixel Aspect Ratio
    2. Allow for the Black and White Restore for the differences betwwen YUV and RGB
    3. Does not allow for an uprezzing

I offered a free article with step by step instructions… perhaps you’d like ot read it too?
