Ive always wanted to try the fight scen from Pathfinder series…THe only way i could figure them fighting each other is with camera tricks and lookalikes without showing their face…Since we are not at the level of THE fast and the furious with multiple people…THe only way i could see this being achieved is if you had a really good actor and a really good team with precise cue spots on where you would be hit and where you would be hitting…Even the hollywood movies dont do a great job at this…its hard.

you should be able to use particular for this..doesnt it have and option for particles to wrap around a sphere…and if you animated that sphere …its been a while since i used particular…but oh man did i love it

use your gradient map as a displacement map instead of a overlay…also you might have to work on your gradients a bit so that they look more like glass..maybe use a bulge..make one first.

6k..wow..good luck…but you could use track camera , and then have a duplicate of her being silhouetted on top…

Shadows are tricky with green screen footage…even hollywood movies have a tough time with this..but a tinted copy of vc reflect can do a decent job if you play with the settings…you could also turn the layer 3d add a light that casts a shadow on ground plane.

Bonus question,…You should key the footage, then pre render out a png sequecne with alhpa and import that back in and then do your effects on that.

i mean..if you had a baked animation of a human figure dancing and imported it into after effects it would be somewhat possilbe with element 3d, and a whole lot of time..not to mention a beastly computer.

ive had this problem before and it wasnt a codec problem…but i cannot remember quite how i fixed it..Maybe you could pre render with alpha png sequence and add the drop shadow to that?..do you have any adjustment layers or any other effects on the element layer..try turning them off one by one and see if it goes away.

Well…you could rotate the arm at its point while using the bend tool…if only someone could come up with an expression to tie the end point of the bend to the the rotation so its alwasy smooth..otherwise you have to animate the end point along with the rotation
