    gee

give the man some slack, maybe he’s right and it’s a lot of money for him. There are countries where 500 bucks is a years income, so.
Anyway I will upgrade even if it will cost me 500 euro , which will equal 1500 dollars by then in july,(thats what you get when you’re dealing with weak currencies)

I’ve a very flexible capture tool for fcp (2 to 6), I call him/ her trainee.
Does everything I need, in the background while I’am multitasking in an espresso bar.

come on fcp 6 is a great tool, I’am only disappointed that it doesn’t make me a better editor.

  • it’s a trick the learned from macromedia. Two years ago I needed a copy of Director (?, yes I now)
They had special offers (or more than 6 months) in the US and sold the program for 999 down from 1199. In Europe the price stayed at 1349 EURO without VAT
=> that was about 1600 dollars. I couldn’t buy or download the american version.
While 4 or 5 months earlier I could easily upgrade flash by downloading it from their american servers. And was automaticly charged the amount of VAT that I should pay, being Dutch.

I would call this schemes, software piracy

Sending a harddrive might also give you trouble, cause windows comps and macs have their harddrives
formatted differently, so best thing is to burn disks or to bring a laptop and transfer through ethernet

    hi

you should use compressor(2) to this. Though don’t use standard presets. I don’t have it on my computer here. but i’thought that it was best to choose all the better options and optical flow (in the second tab).

    hope this helps a bit

It’s a great app and worth every penny, even when it was 2999.
It has great keyers, and the image stabilizer is amazing.
And it has blur filters that make image bluring a feast (optical defocus), -it’s true and I’am not using drugs
and it has a film grain filter
