I have footage shot in DV NTSC edited in FCP which needs to be sent overseas in PAL format(on a DVD). I exported from FCP as QT movie using DV PAL 48khz setting including DVD studio Pro markers. In compressor I also set it to PAL, and when I opened a new project in DVD Studio Pro, I also set it to PAL before importing the compressed footage. The chapters markers were in the wrong places, but It burned fine.We played it on a DVDplayer which outputs as PAL, connected to a PAL monitor, but the footage looks slightly jumpy and you notice way too many scan lines on moving objects. Am I doing something wrong here? anyone help? please? I know i didnt over-compress it cuz i use compressor almost daily and never had the problem with NTSC.

    hi

you should use compressor(2) to this. Though don’t use standard presets. I don’t have it on my computer here. but i’thought that it was best to choose all the better options and optical flow (in the second tab).

    hope this helps a bit
