It’s defiantly playing out at 4:3 as my monitor can display 16:9. I have also tried to use Edit to Tape but the same thing happens. The video plays out of FCP 4:3 even though everything is set to anamorphic. If I play the clips off the timeline and view through firewire its 16:9 but not with print to video or edit to tape.

I know I can do this but I need to be able to use xml data or something similar because i’m trying to write a third party app to assist in log and capturing. The idea is someone does a paper edit using this tool and in turn it generates the xml log sheet for importing into final cut.
