Thanks Mark, I tried dissolves before with mixed results. Even with one frame on either side of the clip, I didn’t notice much difference. Maybe I don’t understand about the Preferences thing.

Now that I got it to workl, apparently Procoder 3 will trancode the Premiere Pro Timeline file directly, although very slowly. It remains to be seen which does a bettter encoding job, Premiere Pro or Procoder 3. Just looking for a good end product.
    Thanks for your reply, Raymond

Yeah, the dongle is plugged in. It apparently had to do with my old version of QuickTime Player. After I installed the latest versin of Quicktime, it worked. It will transcode the whole timeline although very slowly. The next question is which does a better encoding job. Premiere Pro, or Pro Coder 3? Thanks for your reply

August 17, 2009 at 1:21 am in reply to: Audio export from Premiere Pro sounds canned

Hi Vince, I just checked my TV speaker set up. The TV was set on an outside speaker setting and I was using the TV speakers. When I switched to “outside speakers off” the sound was much better. I’ll have to re-adjust, the audio mix, but that seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for your help – Raymond

Thanks, for some reason Front Page takes code like – object width=”425″ height=”350″> and turns it into –
    object width="425" height="350"
I manually typed the correct form into the HTML page and now it shows a blank square with no image. I’m going to go to a Front Page Forum and ask them. Soemone has to know –

Thanks Ed. Just hanging out on these forums makes me do more research and try to “up my tech game”. There’s a lot I don’t understand about Flash and the other formats, but it’s coming.
    Thanks again – Raymond

Thanks Ed and Daniel. My main interest in Flash is it’s reputation for being easy to use by all viewers. But like you said, I need to experiment with several formats and see what looks best. Thanks for your input, much appreciated – Raymond

Thanks for the $.02+. I found a Senneiser 100 G2 camera mountable system for $467 at Northern Light and Sound. It has a ME2OMNI LAV. It was affordable for me. I’m also in to narrative film. I’ll probably pic up a couple of wired mics. It sounds like they come in handy.
Can you switch Lavs within a system? Like, use a different Lav with a Sennheiser transmitter and receiver, or do you have to buy a whole different system when you buy say, an AT803?
    Thanks Raymond
