Hello, I’ve got a short film on my time line in Premiere Pro 1.5 and I want to export it to DVD. When I try to export to Pro Coder 3, I get an “Unable to Compile Movie” error message. It happens whether I try to export a group of clips or an already compressed avi file.
I was hoping to get a higher quality out put from Pro Coder 3 than Premiere Pro.
    Any Ideas?
    Thanks Raymond

You have the dongle pluged in??

Yeah, the dongle is plugged in. It apparently had to do with my old version of QuickTime Player. After I installed the latest versin of Quicktime, it worked. It will transcode the whole timeline although very slowly. The next question is which does a better encoding job. Premiere Pro, or Pro Coder 3? Thanks for your reply

I think procoder3 is a bit better than adobe, plus it will encode to AC3 which Ppro 1.5 wouldn’t

Thanks, I’ll try it. I like the AC3 feature.
