Please excuse my inexperience…the clips show up in the bin. How would I connect them manually other than with the drop down menu to reconnect media? Thanks.

Good news…after updating, the project opened… now, not so good news, …When trying to reconnect media, I get the window to reconnect and instead of the selected clips listed in the window, it says offline clips “missing. Any ideas?
Thanks for all of your help.

I just checked and one has been updated, apparently from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2. I will see if I can upgrade the other and let you know. Thanks for the quick response.

    Hi Shane,
Re: your “P2 workflow”… I have just shot an indie film on HVX’s and have downloaded to hard drives (3 terrabytes). I have a G5 quad with both Avid Express & Final Cut Pro on it. We are trying to figure out the best work flow from this point. Any suggestions?
    Thank you

October 27, 2006 at 7:35 pm in reply to: Tony Scott style editing?

You should listen to the dvd’s commentaries, you’ll learn most of what you need to know about Scott. A lot of his editing “style” is his experimenting with mixing mediums. He will use vintage cameras and undercrank them, cutting into regular or ramped film or digital footage. He’ll experiment with processing and color timing. It would be impossible to have a tutorial on his “style” because it appears that Tony is constantly experimenting, not knowing what his final product will turn out like. Good luck.
