Hi All,
My apologies for not uploading the two images via the tool above. Here they are!
1. I’m looking for this animation collection of something like it. Any ideas?
2. It’s really tough finding animation characters that offer diverse ethnicities without just changing skin tone.
Can anyone suggest some collections or a direction to turn to find any animation collection that’s diverse? In the past, there have been off-topic posts that were well received and got very good answers or suggestions. I hope that is still ok. If not, my apologies. This group has historically been made up of people with broad abilities and experience.
Thanks again, Ralph

October 4, 2017 at 6:25 am in reply to: Off Topic, but… (Looking for Talent in Salt Lake City: Need leads, suggestions…)Wow, Todd. Thank you for the inside track on this. It can take a good while to get to know this first hand so thank you for the advance notice. Breakdown is still working with me on the details of my submission (what’s “proper”/allowed for things like ethnicity and union things…) and I hope to get it posted tomorrow.
Ours is a limited need for talent in this shoot. A handful of standups for an industrial for the feds in a government office. This one part of a three-day shoot shouldn’t go more than 2 hours, maybe three (that’d be scary) with someone who can remember lines and can take direction. $300. Willing to go up if need be. Salt Lake should have enough local talent…? They have a robust theater scene too, I think.
We shall see .

I hear you on the Newscaster voice… Oi! Even when I say something like, “pretend you are a little boy talking to your mom”, it still comes out, “GOOD EVENINIG MOTHER. I’M CHUCK NUGENT, YOUR SON…”
Thanks for the link. I worked through the site and posted a call.

Thank you Wayne. GetIt’s another good reason to set up with a Windows machine.
Good news. I just tried using Final Cut 7 to Log and Transfer the footage and it worked! All the separate clips within the shot were joined and of course the audio was consistent. Great. I just got out of the habit of using FCP to ingest material once I started pre-processing camera files with other apps. Good ol’ FCP!

Thank you, Sejin. I’ll add this to tools I can trey in the future. I recovered files that can be played… but alas, have not been able to convert them into editable files. Am working on that now…
Thanks,
