Thanks, Julian. I’d like to have the option to interview 2 people… so I’ll probably have to go with the 8×8 size. Thanks for all the info.

    Julian,

    About your traveling setup:

Is the 6×6 background large enough? Would you suggest a larger one if shooting two people?
The 8×8 ScrimJim is just 1/2 pound heavier.

Do you ever have to iron out wrinkles or does the velcro really create enough tension to flatten wrinkles?

Does that one Pro-lite really work to provide even lighting… I guess it works well enough or you wouldn’t suggest it. I’m just responding to the apparent need for very-even lighting on green bg’s.

    Thanks!

    HI,

    Regarding
“There are like 50 different “3870” cards on the market, all kinds of colors.”

I assume the one(s) that are for MAC? I see there is a “Saphire” that has the ATI Radeon chip. Is that one of the candidates?

As I look around I see a number of brands that all use the ATI chip. These may all be for PC…? Do you know how this all works… different manufacturers dcan use the ATI chip…?

Is it better to buy from ATI…?

Thanks… lots of questions that come from not knowing how the cards come to be. I’m glad in this case that there are fewer cards for Mac

BTW, there is talk of a new model coming “soon”, a Radeon 4870, according to MacRumors.

    Thank you much!
