    Don and Craig, Thanks so much for replying.

    I used the following settings on my PMW-EX1 (given at Bottom).
    and also uploaded a clip 46.2Meg 1280×720 QuickTime movie here. The Video was originally shot on 1920×1080 with the settings given below, then imported into FCP and Exported to the smaller format for upload.

    In the Video you see the Camera Pan along with the Subject.
    The trouble I’m having is with the Subject intermittently going in and out of focus/ becoming blurry.
    Why is this and what can I do to alleviate the problem?

    Hi Michael,

    Do you have any videos you could post? Better yet, with and without (the NanoFlash) would be really useful.
    There’s been much talk about the EX1’s Rolling Shutter along with Compression causing blur even on slow pans, so it would be great to see if that problem is remedied with the NanoFlash.
