Hi Shane,

No, I have to give the QT files in a hard disk. Should I try the batch export option ? Or just open a ProRes timeline and import the clips ?

Hi walter,

I dont have any of these video cards!!

I have o deliver the QT files on hard disk. So cant i just export quick time conversion as 1080i files ?

Or should i batch export the HDV as ProREs files ?

I’m sure the camera has a fire wire out! I’m gonna open a project in FCP and digitize the footage. Simple!!

Hey just got to know now, the camera make is JVC HD 111…

and it doesn’t shoot 1080 ? only 720p…

…and i have to screen it at 2K frame size which is 1920*1080?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your reply.

1. Is ProRes 422 automatic ?Or will I get an option in my capture settings ? Because I was considering digitizing native 1080p.

2. My film has no effects. All I have to do is edit and color correct.

I think i shall use Color on this one.

hey joe ,

i tried to shoot it by using real ink on paper, but the ink kinda gets soaked in the paper. I also tried to blow the ink away at each frame to create the moving effect.

The strby effect doesnt look like a problem to me actually…the ink morph/ transition does…

can u suggest what surface to shoot this effect on..like a black background or something ?
