Thanks a lot,but this sounds a bit complicated for me. Isnt this feature built into any DVD authoring software, like a preset ?

I dont know scripting, and will this play on normal dvd players ?

Solved the problem…

Actually mt 29inch TV is 4:3, so I had to adjust the dvd setting to watch it in 16:9 mode…

It was becoming anamorphic

Then I exported the avi out of the 16:9 project and imported it in a new 4:3 project and scaled it…works great.

Now I can view 16:9 in 4:3 Tv by default.

Ya…but I want to know how u are mixing SD with HDV. Do u export either the HDV or SD material as avi…and then import them in …in a project ?
