Export the sequence to Mpeg-2 DVD using Adobe Media Encoder instead of send to encore. I suspect there is some problem with the video clip or the video is corrupt.

Create a new menu with correct PAR in photoshop and place the frame on the new menu.

First, delete the Premiere Sequence from Encore’s timeline then delete it from the project panel.
You may also want to try this:
1. Select the Premiere Sequence in Encore
2. Edit->Edit Original
(this action launches premiere and open the target project)
3.In Premiere, playback the sequnece and check the audio, also modify the audio in the sequence and see the changes are reflected in Encore. -
Do you have enough hard disk space on your system?. Delete the sequence from Encore and reimport it.

2. Select the video track ONLY(press Alt key and click on the video track).
3. Window->Properties
4. In properties panel, click on Browse button and locate a .scc file.

Encore CS5 software is not available as a trial.It will be installed as part of the trial for CS5 Production Premium but will not be available for use until you purchase.

You have to render the motion menu in order to preview animated background. Try File->Render->Motion menus.

Instead of .jpg, you can also export them as .psd or .gif to preserve the transparency (alpha channel).

Export all your Boris titles as still images and name them “image_01.jpg”. Now create an image script using any text editor.
Encore can import the images as subtitles using the script.Example:
Display_Area (000 000 720 480)
directory /Users/raja/Desktop/Subtitles/1 00;00;04;17 00;00;05;00 image_01.jpg
2 00;00;05;27 00;00;10;01 image_02.jpg
