thanks for reply. is there a way in premiere to actually view the values-some kind of graph- or do i just have to eyeball it. my concern is that – if i copy the filter adjustment- then paste it to a clip which is not exactly the same as the clip i copied- i end up in the same boat: clips that aren’t balanced. you know what i mean?
i’ve got 8 clips- all with varying degrees of color value.

let me clarify- i have sveral clips in the sequence- a couple of them don’t look like the others- for whatever reason- the color is a little off- and i need to balance the clips so that as i cut- your eye doesn’t catch any blatant shifts in color balance.
is there a way, with the cuts on the timeline, to just move down the line, clip by clip, correcting the hue?
    thanks

I see in the render que- for fields- upper lower or none- I just tried all of them – no difference. I usually have it default to none.
And BTW- I have taken a still of the coin (JPEG) and that’s what I am animating.

    Thank you for quick reply.

Rendering to fields? I’m sorry- I don’t know about that- I usually just go thru and click off the quality, compression stuff- where do I find that?

Thanks for reply- I could paint the pipe green- but I thought you used the green to key out the background etc- the area you actually want to eliminate? Or are you thinking I use the eliminated area on one layer – and that’s where I apply an effect? Stack the layers etc? If I am guessing correctly- might you suggest the effect to apply? Thank you again.
