ok.. i tried track motion…It still became pixelated. Text and video are both pixelated.

I am shooting in 60i. But I only need SD for the broadcast. So, I am rendering to the standard MP2 that the CW requested.

side note: When I am shrink my $80 Sony HD cam (MP4) it looks perfect pre- and post rendered. Kinda pissed that a $2k camera is being out done by a $80 HD cam. :/

Ok, I figure there has to be something going wrong. or maybe a bad configuration??? here is the link to the video portion that i shrank:

Which do you stay away from? 60i/50i? or the 24p / 30p?? And explain your answer. I am shooting TV with a XA10, and I cant figure out what setting to set my camera on. Can you please tell me which settings to use for TV?

I have the same problem. But I am shooting for TV. I need to know how to set the camera to shoot for TV. I cant figure out which settings to use.
ok.. So for a SD broadcast:
Question 1: Do I use M or Auto for TV broadcast?
Queation 2: What setting should I use for TV? 60i, 24p, or 60p
Question 3: How do I render he files? Interlaced, PRogressive, upper, or lower?

any help? Who on CC knows about the XA10? can someone connect me to the right people?

…. ok.. maybe I am presumptuous. So, is there are a difference between 10e and 11? I have been looking at the 2 in regards to closed captions, and I see the same options.

So, I gues I would like to know is: Has anyone had any success using vegas to air broadcast with closed captioning? It doesnt seem like many people are airing for TV. So, IF anyone is airing for tv, please let me know your workflow to render SD with broadcast ready closed captioning and your file type. Vegas 10e or 11 please.

10e does the exact same thing. There is no difference.
And the question is , Will it be broadcast ready?

I need to do closed captioning for broadcast, and upload to server.
The Station says they accept MPEG2, AVI, MP4
But I was under the understanding that Vegas 10e doesnt output broadcast captioning on SD. And the station does not accept the Sony MXF file. I need help. :/
