Now everything works great. I had easy setup “DVCPRO HD” not “Blackmagic HDTV 1080i50 – DVCPRO HD”

I have used easy setup DVCPRO HD. My timeline is 1440×1080 25fps.

I captured from Sony HDW 2000 but I didn`t have enough space so I decided to downconvert to DVCPRO.

In FCP window I have smooth, 25fps playback but on my video monitor (composite) I see only single frames, or I have playback when I`m scrubbing but when I play from timeline I see only first frame and the last one.

DV compression is almost loosless. so you can capture/edit and output using DV compression.

I used to capture via firewire using DV, than export to tiff/tga sequence for grading or compositing in After Effects and after that output to tape ( again DV compression ).
