Personally I will keep away from WD for the rest of my life.
I’ve bought 4 WD hard drives and three out of the four died after just few weeks of use and without any hard work.

If the effect can be played in RT, Cmd-R won’t render it.

No if we are talking about SD.
Yes if is HD.IMO the issue is for editing Progressive stuff as Interlaced.
Most of all if the original footage is 420.
When the footage is 420, the Chroma pattern is different for Progressive and Interlaced stuff.

No need to convert nothing.
Drop the 720×486 stuff on the 720×480 sequence.
FC knows how to manage the 6 lines cropping.

Those are not interlacing artifacts.

If you shot Progressive, you have to edit Progressive.
I think you are creating those artifacts by treating Progressive stuff as Interlaced.

Try with the TC Generator filter.

And your audio files are PCM 48Khz 16/24b?

First you need to convert them in Photoshop.
