You do understand that you can place effects on the layer above the clip…therefore, allowing you do copy and paste them in your timeline. The glow effect work very well with that. Also, I belive Grinner posted a very handy animatte transisition.

Thanks for the advice, I do realize ver2 is a much more advanced product. But is it possible to do anything about my issue with ver1?

Perhaps a mystery combo using Avid’s resize or picture in picture effect?

In addtion, if you’re looking to add a drop shadow to your key…use the alt s_drop shadow instead of the alt s_layer as your last layer drop.

plus, when you can hit the alt button you can then drag the keyframe to a new position.
