    Usually when someone has this problem it’s because either:
    1) The UV map was not rendered at at least 16 bpc
    or
    2) Their AE project is at 8 bpc

    If not that, send a UV map to techsupport at revisionfx.com

    Yes but object by object – because UV means something per object
    Note UV Map takes a UV map alpha channel, and yes some people have used it on architecture projects.

    I have used it on deforming cloth…
    E.G: this is not a simple shape but should work:

    If UV coordinates are manually assigned, sometimes you have to be careful where you actually wrap the UV map
    Sometimes people create UVs that “unfolds” to two different areas and are then if you like in UV at different scale… so then you can simply mask it and do it in two renders for more controls…

    Same with different animations on a deforming surface (simple example if you wanted to animate eyes and mouth in AE and map it to a deforming CG object/face) then you would probably do a layer for the mouth and a layer for the eyes…

    For frame rate conversion

    1) Import the Premiere Project which creates a comp with sliced layers stacked
    2) Reset Comp (comp settings to wanted FPS)
    3) Apply Twixtor to top layer (set Input FPS to original FPS)
    4) Copy Twixtor
    5) Select all layers (then unselect the top one where Twixtor is already there)
    6) Paste Twixtor – you now have Twixtor on each layer and FPS conversion for the whole sequence
    — and in AE the audio still matches

    One easy solution for you would be to not render the movie in Premiere and simply save the project once your edits are done and import in AE. (The File | Import | Premiere Project).
