Thanks for the links I will have to read these later this weekend and look into the GH1.
And get out this week and shoot some more with the 7D with the sharpness dialed down a bit and see what happens.

Thanks for all the info. What about the 5DMKII and it’s moire compared to the 7D and Lumix GH1? Will the full size sensor be better, thus eliminating some of the moire? I have the 7D up for sale and wanted to buy the 5DMKII but will look at the Lumix GH1. Any know articles comparing the 5DMKII to the Lumix GH1?

Thanks again for all the great info. I was re-watching a video by Philip Bloom where he goes over some lenses and he mentioned that the 70-200 had to “IS” options; option 1 for stabilizes across the X&Y axis and option 2 is for tripod use. What is your experience or knowledge about these options?

Noah, thanks for the reply. Even with a camera rig like a Zacuto target shooter or other camera stability rigs the having the “IS” is critical. I have not used a lens like this on the camera yet, so I have no experience with how it will look and or operate.

I plan on re-installing FCP tonight, then do a sys re-build if that does not work.

Jeff,
When I have Activity Monitor open and running and I’m in FCP and click the various items in FCP’s browser bar / Finder in the activity monitor I get:
Process ID: compressord (not responding) i clicked inpsect and it says it is’s parent process is qmastered (126)

I also get this in the activity monitor:

process ID 136
userEventAgent (not responding)
Parent Process launched (71)

Any ideas?
