Hi Martin,

Thanks for the tip, what I am doing closely ressemble the full occlusion example towards the end of the tutorial. So I guess switching to manual tracking is the way to go then. Is the mode switching global or is part of a new keyframe once I switch to it, and then once the occlusion has passed switching back to tracking will drop another keyframe?

Well I don’t think that the PAR will change and would leave at the native square for now.

Final resolution is 4k at 4/3 AR so 3840×2160. If I input that resolution into the sequence setting the only thing that Premiere seems to do is crop and zoom in the image, the preview windows and the preview itself is still in 16/9

Nope, that didn’t do anything.

I tried save the project under a new name = nothing

I copied the supposedly missing files in another folder and replace the footage with the copies and that seems to have done it.

Problem solved…at least temporary.

I switch the project video renderer from hardware to software and now the image doesn’t go black anymore

Hi Tero,

Thanks for the article. I am a bit puzzled, if i set the sequence settings to 1920×804 and then right click on the video and scale to frame, Premiere will include black bars on each side of the video.

Now if I undo that, then the video will be properly scaled.

Am i missing something here?

Yes the 60p is for slow motion purposes.
