highlight all the clips except the one that you’ve modified
    remove attributes: filters
copy and paste new attributes to others from clip

Its all done in Joomla, the video displayed is using a plugin. Funny that it works on a PPC with safari, but sometimes quits on the intel.

Yes, there are various ways you can make 3D text within Motion3.
All of them are a workaround though and some work better than others.

I’ve written a tutorial on the different methods here:-

Just a note, if you are browsing on an intel machine, use firefox as sometimes safari gets a bit confused & quits with all the media on the page. Apple engineers please note 🙂

Not within FCP, but you could kick out a movie in the timeline native codec and then use Compressor which would distribute.

Do thorough research on the terrablock. It was suggested as a SAN for us a year or so back but wasnt flexible or expandable enough. I also know of one client who has thrown one out after no end of problems.

I’d do the Metasan route for just a couple of stations.

ps ironic when I might be using Ben’s terrablock in a couple of months LOL!

I’d suggest you post this on the Xsan or San networks forum.

If you are accesing the same media, you will need some type of San somewhere along the line. If you only want to write to one RAID and read the others then you could manage with a volume based SAN such as SanMP

    Cheapest way would be:-
    1) San in a can solutions such as terrablock
    2) Metasan & a fibre channel switch. (File based)

    two ways

    1) set your keyboard to your language

    2) use the ‘special characters’ option in one of the dropdown menus

I think you can cut & paste too out of the glyph editor or whatever that is.

I know they read the Motion forum so your comments won’t go unnoticed.
