Try making a new bin, then drag all of your clips off the timeline and into that bin and then save.
See if that fixes the matchframe problem

here is at times an instability of motion (even after rendering the clip at highest settings) and sometimes twitter and/or a pixelated/aliased look, even for slow moves on images that are pretty big (2250×2700) where we’re not even filling the screen with the artwork.

Is it a Moiré problem?

Both are good products, both have their evangelists.

Compare product specs carefully. Also checkout the MXO2 which

I’m not a huge fan of the Kona3 as I find I get crackles and/or audio loss on playback from the timeline. This happens on different machines with different cards & different software. Lip sync can be a problem too.

That is interlacing and is completely normal.

Use a deinterlace filter if you want to remove them, but you will lose half your vertical resolution.
