Yes I have and it’s becoming chronic. Reinstalling software, flashing rom, all the tricks are not working any more. HDMI audio is ok so we are temporarily looping montoring off an HDTV. AJA seems to not have heard of this before. Have you found any solutions?

Hey Bob – I’ve Googled my fingers off only to find the LTO world is pretty muddy for guys like us.

What I have found is a hodgepodge of manufacturers and VARs and no one focused on the independent editor.

I personally have almost 20tb in hard drive archives – WD Sharespace and MyBook II , RAID 5 and 1 respectively.

I cannot find a single reseller who has a package, ready to install, for a single Mac Pro, LTO 4 or 5.

I want to sell my hard drives and move my data to tape, not necessarily in that order.

I value your opinion – do you have any suggestions for me?

Just heard from AJA and current software has a known issue that does not allow component analog output. I have composite (only as a “video presence detector”) and HDMI. I don’t have an SDI monitor so don’t know if that works. AJA says component analog will be in next version.

Both FCP7 and PP5 work OK on same card, just need to save preset for each for quick setup.
