  • Kona Lhi Output Question?

Posted by Peter Tours on October 13, 2011 at 7:43 pm

FCP guy here, moving to PP CS5. Got my Kona Lhi going today with PP but only HDMI. When using the Kona with it’s control panel, I get analog component and HDMI, as I do in FCP, but when I switch from the control panel to PP, only HDMI works as the seondary output changes to the same as the primary.

Anyone know what I can do in PP to make it not do that?

    Thanks

First you must be an AJA timeline. Go to Sequence/Sequence Settings/Playback Settings. The AJA control panel within Premiere will pop up. There are settings for analog out. Set the Secondary Format to the proper setting, then set the Analog Out to its desired setting. The Primary format is preset by the AJA timeline you choose when you set up originally.

Thanks, I will try that. AJA gave up trying.
