You just select the keyframes in question, hold down ALT (or OPTION on the mac) and drag left or right on the last keyframe.

You can indeed use the Comp camera to move around the object in 3d. Just tick the option to “Use comp camera” in the invigorator plugin.
And you don’t need to turn the invigorator layer into a 3d layer. The 3D is handled in the plugin.

Not sure if it will do exactly this, but there is a great script over at AE enhancers that allows you to change the keyboard shortcuts. It is called Keyed Up.

How doesn’t it follow? Does it jump around all over the screen or does it just seem to lag a little behind where it was supposed to be.
What are you rendering out to? interlaced or progressive media?
I have sometimes seen stuff that didn’t align properly when it was rendered out to an interlaced media.
The only solution I have come up with is to render it progressive, i.e. turn off field render in the render settings.

March 4, 2008 at 11:16 am in reply to: 16:9 full height anamorphic!?!

“Full Height Anamorphic” means that it is a 720×576 image that will be stretched to a 16:9 aspect ratio later on.
In After Effects you need to choose PAL D1/DV Widescreen in both the Preset and the Pixel Aspect Ratio when you make your new comp.

If you need to bring in any footage that is already anamorphic make sure to let AE know that it is anamorphic. i.e. click the clip in the project window and press cmd+f (or ctrl+f) if you are on a pc (I think).
And choose widescreen in the pixel aspect ratio drop down menu.

You can work in widescreen by toggling the Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction on in the bottom of the viewer.

I would try precomposing the individual puppets and then do the color correction in the pre-comp.

To replace an image in the timeline with another from the project window just hold down “Alt” and drag & drop your image on the one you wish to have replaced…
