Hi there, I’ve been working on a rather complicated animation within After Effects for 2 days now. The problem is that the animation will have to be updated every 2 weeks, with entirely new images (All my images are in the “bin”).

Now I cannot for love nor money, find an option that will allow me to replace an image with a different one from the bin. Adobe Premiere allows this.

How can this be done in After Effects?!

    Thanks
    Dave

To replace an image in the timeline with another from the project window just hold down “Alt” and drag & drop your image on the one you wish to have replaced…

[Peter Rongsted] “just hold down “Alt””

As with all Adobe applications, if you’re on a Mac the Option key serves the same function as the Alt key on a PC.

Sweet, I had been wondering about this myself and just not bothered to ask…
