Hi, I would recommend not tracking on the same layer as the footage, but rather on a solid above the footage. Then set the footage layer’s track matte to ‘alpha matte’.

Hi, try this, within the Preferences>Import dialog. Set the Sequence Footage value to 24. Now all sequences will import by default at 24.

Hi Brian, I made my menus in AE and saved them out of AE as psd files. Because the psd file had many layers which were mov files, I guess somehow Encore gets confused. What worked for me was to reduce the psd file to only a background layer (a still) and some buttons. Then in Encore I swap out the background layer for an mov file that I am using as my motion menu.

Hi, I got to the bottom of it. Since my psd files were made in AE, multiple mov files were created within the psd (I’m not sure why). This was confusing Encore.

Hi, to change the feature you are tracking without changing the attach point, hold down option before moving the search area box to a new, better point. Another option is Mocha.

Hi I think by 32bit avi they mean “rgb and a” (8+8+8+8) as opposed to rgb (8+8+8). This is not the same as 32 bit floating point accuracy of a file. I know, it’s a bit confusing. Why don’t you just adjust the exposure on the HDRI sequence within AE?

The way I understand collapse tranformations is like this, If in one comp I scale a layer down to 10% of its original size and then I scale a comp containing that comp up 10 times, collapse transformation joins the math for displaying the 2nd comp into one operation like this scale = 0.1*10 which equals 1 so the layer in the nested comp is displayed at its original size without being pixelated. When collapse transformations is not selected, the scaled down layer is scaled up as if it were a small raster image and you get distortion. An example of when you need to have collapse transformations turned off is when you are using AE’s motion blur.

Hi, try turning on collapse transformations for your comps.
