Leave about 1.5 to 2 seconds black at the end and you should be fine.

Just my 2 cents, but I think the original design of the ball is too small. I think it should be the size of a pea (twice the normal size). Better for me functionally and less likely to have dirt, chips,beer etc. to gunk it up. Like they say the same speck of dirt on 35 mm is 4 times the size on 16 mm.

Why not do it the old fashion way and lay it out to vhs and bring it in again, done. Do a test. Get the cut approved and go.

I feel your pain brother. This makes a very serious point about archiving at least twice before any capturing is done. This is the neg. Right out of the gate before you do any thing, get it somepace else. X2

Remember what Tom said about drives and there ability to sustain playback. In HD (depending on what codec you choose) you need fast drives. Standard external firewire drives won’t cut it.

Your frame size is your aspect ratio. Pixel aspect ratio only refers to whether the pixels are square (1) video (.9) or anamorphic etc. What format of video did you shoot?

Under Sequence settings/frame size there is a custom tab that lets you set the frame size to whatever you want. I think there is a maxium size of some sort.
