Hi Julian,
I’m glad that worked out for you. I’ve uploaded the preset that I mentioned in my post, which may have been from a more recent version of the software – you can download it here:

July 7, 2011 at 6:02 pm in reply to: Compatibility Vegas pro 10 Boris BCC7 and Eyeon FusionHi Jean-Luc,
Thanks for getting in touch with us about this. The problem that you are reporting is new to us – we have not had any reports of such a conflict in the past. Having said that, let’s see what we can do to resolve the issue.
Also, as a side note, BCC OFX is not currently a supported plug-in for Fusion. If you need BCC in Fusion, you will need to install the BCC AE (After Effects) version. We hope to support Fusion with BCC OFX but we have yet to finish that project.
I suggest starting by uninstalling the BCC filters to see if this enables Fusion to launch. If so then at least we know where the problem is and can go about fixing it. So, please try this:
• Uninstall the BCC OFX product
• Reboot the system
• Launch Sony Vegas Pro and make sure that it runs
• Launch Fusion and make sure that it runs
• Reinstall BCC filters
• Reboot the system
• Launch Sony Vegas Pro and make sure that it runs and that the BCC filters are there
• Launch Fusion and make sure that it runsIt’s very important that you reboot so please do not skip this step.
Please let us know if this helps.
Cheers,
Peter.

Hi Julian,
For Indent you can find a matching result if you use BCC Bump Map. You’ll probably only need to adjust the filters bump height parameter for most clips.
For Color Emboss, you can get a match if you use BCC Emboss. Select the OverlayOnOriginal preset from the factory installed presets and you should be good to go.
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
Peter.

Hi Theo,
We have a set of installers that our release engineering team has created specifically for you, that are designed to test out a couple of theories as to what the root of the problem may be. Are you available to look at this with us tomorrow?
Thanks,
Peter.

A .RED project would be just fine.

Hi Jaeson,
Can you please send us a RED settings file that demonstrates this issue? Having this would assist us in reproducing the issue in our labs. You can send that to us via email at this address: support@borisfx.com. Please cc me (peterm@borisfx.com) on the message.
Cheers,
Peter.

Hi Jaeson,
Can you try disabling OpenGL previews to see if that helps? You can do this by going to:
Preview: OpenGL Mode: Off
You might also try setting the display to High Quality if it is set to Low Quality. You can do that by clicking on the quality icon in the comp window and selecting High from the pop-up.
I hope this helps.
Peter.

Hi Theo,
Did you completely uninstall RED 5.0.4 before attempting to install a previous version? If so, you might want to delete anything in the registry for RED 5.0.4 just to be sure that RED 5.0.2 does not see a newer version of itself, which could prevent the install from successfully installing RED onto the target system.
Meanwhile, please know that we are still investigating the source of the problem, which we believe to be a permissions issue.
Thanks,
Peter.

Hmmm … on the systems that I have looked at just a few minutes ago, the help file opens in Explorer as expected. You need to make sure that Internet Explorer is set as the default browser on your system for it to work.
I’ll ask in engineering if we can do something about this – perhaps the help system can either:
• open in any browser
or
• find Internet Explorer and open in that application regardless of whether it is the default browser on that system.
Thanks,
Peter.
