Hi,
Glad you were able to figure that out – you see, the text has to be selected manually in the text generator window to enable the option of applying different colors to characters within the same word, or group of characters.
The software is indeed a little complicated at the beginning, however, once you understand the basic principles behind the user interface you’ll find that you can fly with it, making animated title generation a breeze.

Hi,
I’ll ask the technicians in our QA labs to take a look at this to see if they are seeing what you appear to be seeing in regard to use of the BCC OpenGl accelerated filters in Premiere Pro CS3. If may be related to the driver for the video card that you are using, but I’m not sure yet and won’t know for certain until they have performed some tests. I guess in the meantime all I can suggest is for you to limit your use of the BCC OGL filters to when you are working in the CS3 After Effects host and to avoid using them in Premiere.

Hi,
When the text appears in the little window, you need to select the text and then set the new color. If you don’t select the text nothing will change. This is what is happening on your system.

No, you’ll need to get in touch with us so that we can provide you with a new license. The key is node locked to the computer onto which it was installed.

Hi Mark,
This should be a fairly straightforward support issue – please contact our support team at support@borisfx.com as they should be able to resolve this with you either over email or the phone. It is most likely something simple like a stale or corrupt preferences file on your machine, which is causing the filters to crash. Feel free to contact me at peterm@borisfx.com if the matter remains unresolved by the end of day today.

Hi,
There are lots of tutorials on our web site at http://www.borisfx.com/tutorials. The RED DVD is great, and you can learn a lot about the interface and how the software operates by watching it. It does however cover many features that are exclusive to RED but it also covers a lot of areas that are included in Graffiti and FX.

You’ll need to use BCC 4.1 or greater for CS3 – 4.0 won’t work.
