Thanks for the suggestion, Marcin. I’m going to use this method for any problem MXF files in my collection… at least for now.

I just wanted to log in to say thanks, Fransisco Teo.

After a couple hours of banging my head against the same error, I tried your method of adjusting the subtitles so that they didn’t touch around where the timecode was noted in the error. I had to do this a few times, but after they were all ironed out, no more errors!

Look at me, I’m excited about burning a DVD in 2015!

Thanks for this. To add to kyle’s workflow, if you have multiple audio clips that you’re trying to sync, the first clip you sync will lose its spot upon syncing the next one. I found that adding a marker on the video that lines up with the end of the first audio clip is an adequate workaround. It’s certainly not perfect–if you try to group the first synced audio with the video, and then attempt to sync a new audio clip to those, the synchronize option is grayed out.
